Jewelry Tag

What fun I'm having with this little punch called "Jewelry Tag".  Small words from any set will fit and I used "hello" from "You're My Type" from the Occasions Mini.  I stamped images from "Fresh Vintage" (SAB) with Poppy Parade, Island Indigo, and Lucky Limeade on First Edition Specialty DSP.  Then, I stamped the flower on Lucky Limeade card stock and punched out it with the Curly Label Punch.  I used the In Color Designer Printed Brads and added a Poppy Parade 1/2" Stitched-Poly Ribbon.  Today is the last day to take advantage of the great Sale-A-Bration Promotion!

Postage Stamps

I stamped this with the "Fresh Vintage" set (SAB) in Pretty in Pink, Daffodil Delight, and Melon Mambo.  Then, I ran some Whisper White card stock through the Big Shot using the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder.  I punched them all out using the Postage Stamp punch and mounted the six squares on a piece of Whisper White card stock popped up with Dimensionals.  I sewed a piece of DSP from the Attic Boutique Collection (Occasions Mini) on the card which was made with the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder.  Last, I added a Melon Mambo 1/2" Scallop Dots Ribbon.

Sprinkled Expressions

I tried a new color combination:  So Saffron, Peach Parfait, and Basic Gray.  I stamped the "Celebrate" from "Sprinkled Expressions" (free from SAB) in Basic Gray and the image from "Triple Treat Flower" (also from SAB) in Basic Gray and So Saffron.  Then, I punched it out with the 5-Petal Flower and the Fancy Flower Punches and popped it up with Dimensionals.  I added a Flower Brad and a Peach Parfait 1/2" Stitched-Poly Ribbon.  The background paper is from the Patterns Designer Series Paper Stack (top) and the Flirtatious Specialty (bottom).

Pink or Green?

I can't decide which one I like better, the Rose Red one or the Lucky Limeade one.  I made both of these cards using "Sprinkled Expressions" from SAB--this great promotion ends this week (click on the side bar catalog for the link).  I mounted it on Early Espresso and popped it up with Dimensionals.  I wrapped Baker's Twine around it and used Early Espresso on the top card and Lucky Limeade on the bottom one.

Pretty Pastels

I love pastels, especially in the spring!  I made this card with the "Mixed Bunch" set from the Occasions Mini.  I stamped the flowers in Wisteria Wonder, Regal Rose, and Daffodil Delight on a Pear Pizzazz card, then punched two of them with the new Blossom Punch and popped them up with Dimensionals.  The words are from the set "Delightful Dozen".  The background strip is from the Patterns Designer Series Paper Stack and I ran the bottom of the card through my Big Shot using the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.  The Wisteria Wonder trim was made using the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch.  Last, I added some 1/4" Daffodil Delight Grosgrain Ribbon.

Change of Pace

It seems like I've posted mostly cards lately, so here's what else I've been up to.  I made this table runner with a charm pack (5" x 5" pre-cut squares) cut in half.  I stitched them together in strips and then added coordinating fabric in the middle.  The fabric is from Moda's "Hometown" collection and if I had to pick SU colors that matched, they would be:  So Saffron, Pool Party, Cherry Cobbler, Basic Gray, and Very Vanilla.  The table runner is so long, this picture only shows about half of it.

Kindness Matters

I don't know why I never bought this set, "Kindness Matters", until now--I actually got it for FREE from SAB.  I think it's really cute and I love how it fits inside the Extra Large Oval Punch as well.  I made the Soft Suede overlay with the Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and then tied Pool Party Baker's Twine around this piece.  I made the Peach Parfait trim with the Eyelet Border Punch and scrunched it up to make it look like lace.  The Pool Party card base measures 3" x 6" and fits in the Small Open-End Envelope.

Sneak Peek

Here's a little sneak peek of some new Stampin' Up! stuff coming out in the new catalog in June! I used Daffodil Delight and Pacific Point markers to color the vase and the flowers from the new set "Bright Blossoms".  You will be seeing more of this set--so keep checking back.  The background paper is from the Summer Smooches DSP Collection and the bow made with the new Daffodil Delight Seam Binding.  All of these products shown will be available in April to order for a limited preview.  Debbie is the winner of Tuesday's Blogversary give away.  Congrats!

Second Blogversary & Give Away

On this day two years ago, I began my blog.  So, this card is "Just for You" to thank my blog followers.  I used "Oval All" and the Large Oval and Scallop Oval Punches.  The colors I used are Pool Party, Riding Hood Red, and Soft Suede.  The background paper is from Attic Boutique and I added a Daffodil Delight 1 1/4" Striped Ribbon tied with some Linen Thread.
Leave me a comment between now and Thursday evening to enter your name in a drawing for this set!

Black & White

This card was inspired by Kathy too!  I changed it a tad and added a bow.  I used "Mixed Bunch" to stamp the flower and punched it out with the Blossom Punch.  Then, I punched out the Basic Black circle with the 2 1/2" Circle Punch.  The next circle was made with the 3" Circle Die after I used the Houndstooth Embossing Folder.  The bottom layer was made with the Scallop Circle #2 Die and the background with the Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder.  I added a 1/2" Basic Black Scallop Dots Ribbon around the middle.  This was one of the favorites at class last Saturday.

Tea for Two

This pinky, pink card was made from "Tea Shoppe" from the Occasions Mini.  I stamped the tea cup in Melon Mambo, cut it out, and popped it up with Dimensionals.  Then, I stamped the words and punched them out with the Extra Large Oval Punch.  I made the Whisper White doily with the Sizzlits Paper Doily Die and the little flower with the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch.  The background paper is from the Flirtations Specialty Collection.

Simply Scored

This cute card was made by my friend Kathy.  She scored the Whisper White background with the new Simply Scored Scoring Tool and then cut the Basic Gray DSP piece using the Labels Collection Famelits Dies.  The butterfly was made by stamping an image from "Fresh Vintage" (SAB) in Basic Gray on Pretty in Pink.  Then it was cut out with the Beautiful Butterflies Die and popped up with Dimensionals.  Last, two Basic Pearls were added.

Totally CASEd

Yup, I'll admit it, I totally CASEd (Copy And Steal Everything) this one.  It was just so cute, I had make it.  I used the "Mouthwatering" set from the Occasions Mini.  I used Melon Mambo and Kiwi Kiss and stamped the watermelon twice.  I cut off the parts I didn't need and then put it together.  The seeds were made by using the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer punch.  The word is from "Fabulous Phrases",  punched out with the Word Window Punch, and decorated with a Basic Black Brad.  The background papers are from the Patterns Designer Series Paper Stack.  Last, I added a Melon Mambo 1/2" Scallop Dots Ribbon.
