Gingham Garden

Washi Tape is all the rage right now and SU has some to offer!  This set is called Gingham Garden and contains three different rolls.  I made the little window using the Apothecary Accents Framelits and punched the holes around it with the coordinating Essentials Paper Piercing Pack.  I used Island Indigo for the card and the paper behind the window is from the Gingham Garden DSP collection.  I stamped the words in Daffodil Delight and Strawberry Slush from the "Label Love" set, layered them together, and popped it up with Dimensionals.

I'm Whaling (Wailing)

This set "Oh, Whale" is retiring in a few days.  It is my favorite from the Spring Mini and I'm so sad to say goodbye.  Also retiring is his cute little coordinating Happy Whale die.  Have I mentioned I'm also not happy about ALL the 1/2" Scallop Dots Ribbon retiring?  If you want any of these, let me know by Thursday night and I'll be glad to order them for you.  Colors used:  Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo, and Night of Navy.  I used the Chevron Embossing Folder to make the background.

Dapper Dad

I know it's a little early to be thinking about Father's Day, but this set "Dapper Dad" retires in a few days in case you still want to order it.  It also contains a watch and a bow tie.  I stamped it in Basic Gray and then colored the argyles on the shoe with Daffodil Delight.  I stamped "dad" with one of the 24 stamps from the "Family Reunion" set.  The background paper is from the Polka Dot Parade Collection.   I used some 1 1/4" Basic Gray Two-Tone Ribbon (also retiring) with a little knot around the bottom of the card.

Button Buddies

This cute set called "Button Buddies" is retiring in a few days--sad.  I used Pretty in Pink (also retiring) with Coastal Cabana (new In Color).  I stamped the words with "Itty Bitty Banners", punched it out with the Bitty Banners Framelits, and popped it up with Dimensionals.   The background paper is from the Designer Series Paper Stacks (also retiring).  I added a little flower from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack with a Basic Pearl and a Pretty in Pink Button with some Pool Party Baker's Twine.

Strawberry Slush

This is my favorite new color--Strawberry Slush!   It can be yours starting June 1 with the new catalog.  I made this card using the set "Mosaic Madness" and coordinating Mosaic Embossing Folder and the new DSP collection is called Quatrefancy.  I added an Island Indigo 3/8" Ruffled Ribbon (retiring in 11 days).

Taggy

Thought I'd post something different than a card--I was having a crafty moment (or two).  I made this "taggy" blanket for my new grandson.  I thought he needed to have one in bright colors.  I used flannel on the front,  minkee on the back, and lots of ribbon loops in between.

Cutest Baby Ever

I just had to make this card to match the blanket and burp cloth set for sweet baby Crew.  It's made from the new set called "Label Love" and coordinating Artisan Label Punch.   I used Coastal Cabana (new In Color), Daffodil Delight, and Crumb Cake.  The words are from "Sweet Essentials" and the trim was made with the Scallop Edge Border Punch.

Secret Garden

This set called "Secret Garden" has coordinating Framelits Dies in six different shapes to use with this set.  I used Wisteria Wonder and Pool Party to stamp the flowers.  The words are from the new set "Banner Greetings". I used the Elegant Lines Embossing Folder (retiring) for the background.  I punched out the trim using an Adorning Accents Embossing Folder and the coordinating Edgelits.  I tied a Wisteria Wonder 3/8" Ruffled Ribbon (also retiring).

Another Sneak Peek

Here's a cute new stamp set called "Mosaic Madness" and coordinating Mosaic Punch and Modern Mosaic Embossing Folder.  I stamped with the new In Colors Strawberry Slush, Pistachio Pudding, and Baked Brown Sugar.  The words are from a new hostess set called "Banner Greetings".   I used some Soft Suede 3/8 Taffeta Ribbon because it's just a shade darker than Baked Brown Sugar and matches perfectly.

Spectacles

I made this with the single stamp "Spec-tacular" (now extended) using Night of Navy ink.  I mounted it on a piece of Raspberry Ripple and then on some DSP from the Poetry Print Stack.  Last, I added some googlie eyes on 1/4" punched circles and some 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon.

You're Amazing

This card has three papers from the Patio Party DSP Collection (retiring).  I mounted them on a Primrose Petals card and tied a Midnight Muse 3/8" Satin Stitched Ribbon.  The words are from "You're Amazing" and you can still purchase "Happy Birthday" as a single stamp.  I used Primrose Petals and Midnight Muse markers to color the letters.  Then, I cut it out with this shape from the Apothecary Accents Framelits.

Beyond Plaid

I stamped this cute plaid background with one of the four stamps from "Beyond Plaid" in Basic Gray.  I stamped the flower from "Mixed Bunch" in Daffodil Delight and the words are from "Delightful Dozen".  I decided to make the cards with two different sentiments.  On the top card I stamped the center of the flower again in Basic Gray and used the 3/4" Circle Punch to make the center.  On the bottom card I tied some Whisper White Baker's Twine through a Basic Gray button.  Last, I tied a 1/4" Daffodil Delight Ribbon around the card.
