Happy New Year!

I made this card with DSP from the Picture Perfect Party collection on a Peekaboo Peach card base.  I added words from the "Picture Perfect Birthday" set and the banner was made with the Simple Stripes Embossing Folder.  Have a Happy New Year!

Sneak Peek

The Occasions Mini Catalog begins soon!  Here's a card I made from "Picture Perfect Birthday" and Picture Perfect Party DSP.  I made the strip behind with the Sweetheart Embossing Folder and cut the words out with the Stitched Shapes Framelits.

Merry Christmas from my family to yours!

One Last Christmas Card

Here's one last Christmas card for the season.  It's similar to a previous one I posted, but I used Gold Foil Paper instead of Silver.  To see the one I did in Cherry Cobbler and Silver click here.

Santa's Workshop

I've been busy doing this and a bunch of other things, too many to list.  Check back soon for another card post.

Beautiful Bag

Here's another easy idea for a small goody for someone.  Just put a cookie or treat in this beautiful gold Striped Treat Bag (from the big catalog).  I made the reindeer with the Santa's Sleigh Thinlits and popped it with Dimensionals on a Scalloped circle I made with the Layering Circle Framelits.  I layered that on a Foil Snowflake and then a Delicate White Doily.

12.08.2017

Tiny Treat

Here's a quick and easy little gift or favor for the table.  You could even use it at a place setting and put a name on the tag.  Fill it with your choice of candy.  I used the Clear Tiny Treat Boxes and the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch.  I stamped the words with "Seasons of Whimsy" in Real Red and the trees with "Watercolor Christmas" in Emerald Envy.

12.01.2017

Merry Music

This is a similar card to my last post using the same stamp set (Every Good Wish) but different colors.  I used Sweet Sugarplum and Smoky Slate.  The background paper is called Merry Music and it also has lots of sheets of actual music on a white background and also on a black background.  I used some 3/8" Metallic Edged Ribbon to finish it off.

11.26.2017

Every Good Wish

I made this card using "Every Good Wish" and Night of Navy ink.  I made the snowflakes in Silver Foil Paper and Whisper White Cards Stock (hard to see the white ones) with the Seasonal Layers Thinlits.  I added some Night of Navy Gingham Ribbon and some Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Have a Happy Thanksgiving!  Gobble Gobble!

11.20.2017

Merry Mistletoe

Isn't this little reindeer darling?  He is from the set "Merry Mistletoe" which also has the "Merry Christmas" words.  The background papers on these three cards are from the Quilted Christmas DSP Stack in Real Red and Garden Green.  I heat embossed the reindeer and words using Versamark Ink and White Embossing Powder.

11.17.2017

Snowflake Sentiments

This stamps set called "Snowflake Sentiments"  has 11 different words and images and coordinating thinlits.  I made the snowflakes with the Silver Foil Paper and used the Layering Ovals Framelits for the words.  I added some 3/8" Metallic Edge Silver Ribbon to finish it off.

Love Me Some Plaid

October's Paper Pumpkin kit has some adorable plaid cards and lined envelopes, not to mention lots of stamps, sequins, and shaker card supplies (I'll post later).  I made these cards from some of the cute plaid paper and also used the reindeer from "Merry Mistletoe" and heat embossed it in Whisper White.

O Little Town of Bethlehem

This picture doesn't do this card justice, because it is beautiful I tell you!  I used the Dapper Denim ombre looking paper from the Color Theory DSP Stack as the background mounted on Whisper White card stock.  The words are from "Hearts Come Home", stamped in Versamark, and heat embossed with Silver Embossing Powder.  The little town of Bethlehem was cut with the coordinating Hometown Greetings Edgelits and Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets using Silver Foil Sheets (in front) and Silver Glimmer Paper (behind).

Autumn Leaves

I took the used baby wipe from the card I posted on October 31 and ran it across Stampin' Up!'s Glossy White Cardstock, almost like painting.  Then I stamped the leaves from "Colorful Seasons" in Basic Black over the top.  The words are from the same set and I cut those out with the Stitched Shapes Framelits.  Colors on the wipe were Crushed Curry, Cherry Cobbler, and Cajun Craze.

11.02.2017

More Sunflowers

One more sunflower card before fall is over and we're into the holiday season.  This was made using the "Painted Harvest" set and coordinating Leaf Punch.  I stamped the sunflowers in both Daffodil Delight and Crushed Curry (two-step stamping) and the leaves in Garden Green.  The centers were made with Night of Navy stamped off for the middle and full strength for the dots.  The words are from "Special Celebrations" and I finished it off with some Night of Navy Gingham Ribbon.

10.31.2017

Happy Fall and Happy Halloween!

This card was made using the baby wipes technique.  I folded a baby wipe in four and then squirted drops of Crushed Curry, Cherry Cobbler, and Cajun Craze all over it.  I took the two leaf stamps from "Colorful Seasons" and put them on the baby wipe, using it as the ink pad.  It gives it a marbled/speckled look.  The words are also from the same set but any words could be used with these pretty leaves.

10.28.2017

Night in Bethlehem

This Z-fold card was made from the "Night in Bethlehem" set.  I cut the buildings with the coordinating edgelits in Very Vanilla and Crumb Cake.  I placed them on a Night of Navy background and added some Wink of Stella to give it a little sparkle (hard to see in this picture).  The top picture is the card closed.

Watercolor Sunflower

I stamped this card on Shimmery White card stock with the "Painted Harvest" set in Daffodil Delight (first layer) and Pumpkin Pie (second layer).  I stamped the center in Soft Suede and the leaves in Old Olive.  I used an Aqua Painter to spread the water around and give it a diffused look .  I also added some Pool Party around the sunflower.   The background was made with the Seaside Embossing Folder and I added some Linen Thread around the middle.

10.22.2017

Blessed

This card was made using the clear blocks as stamps.  I inked the colors (Tangerine Tango, Crushed Curry, Old Olive) onto the blocks and then spritzed them with water before stamping them on the card stock.  Then I stamped the leaf from "Colorful Seasons" in Early Espresso over the top.  The words are from "Paisleys and Posies".  I made the background splatter spots with a stamp from "Timeless Textures" and added some Crushed Curry Baker's Twine.

10.19.2017

Hearts Come Home

This cute little village is from the set "Hearts Come Home".  It has coordinating edgelits dies with three different town type scenes.  I used thick Whisper White card stock on a Night of Navy Base and cut it with the Big Shot using an Adhesive Sheet.  It's so easy and quick to just "peel and stick".  I finished the card of with some Night of Navy Gingham Ribbon.

10.16.2017

Just Peachy

Here's a different take on the sunflowers.  I used Peekaboo Peach, Pear Pizzazz, and Soft Suede.  The sunflower and words are from the "Painted Harvest" stamp set.

10.13.2017

Christmas Quilt

This embossing folder is one of my favorites called Quilt Top and looks just like the pieces of a quilt.  I added some DSP from the Quilted Christmas stack and the words are from "Christmas Quilt".  There also some coordinating framelits and these cute little embellishments.  Here are two same but different cards in Real Red and Garden Green.

10.10.2017

Sunflowers

Here's another new stamp set from the Holiday Mini.  It's called "Painted Harvest" and has a coordinating leaf punch and DSP (Painted Autumn).  I stamped the flowers first with Daffodil Delight and then with the top stamp in Crushed Curry.  The leaves were stamped off first in Garden Green for the background and then full strength for the veins.  Then, I punched them out with the Leaf Punch.  The centers were stamped off in Early Espresso and then full strength for the dots.

10.07.2017

Woody

This is a great masculine or fall card that can be used for any occasion by changing the words.  These words are from "Colorful Seasons" and I used the coordinating Seasonal Layers Thinlits to make the leaf along with a Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet so I could just "peel and stick" it on a square from the Wood Textures DSP.  The background was made with the Layered Leaves Embossing Folder.

10.04.2017

Spooky Cat

This cool cat was made with the "Spooky Cat" stamp set and cut out with the coordinating Cat Punch.  The paper is from the Spooky Night collection and has both orange and black cats that also fit precisely in the punch.  The sky was made with the Card Front Builder Thinlits and I finished it off with some black Vintage Crochet Trim.

10.01.2017

Three Leaves

Is it fall yet?  I made this card using the Seasonal Layers Thinlits and cut them out in Crushed Curry, Fresh Fig, and Tangerine Tango.  I made the speckles/spots/grunge with a stamp from "Every Good Wish".  The "thanks" is from "All Thing Thanks".

9.27.2017

More Mittens

Here's another mitten card!  This time I used Pool Party for the card base and cut out the Crumb Cake mittens using the Many Mittens Framelits which coordinates with the "Smitten Mittens" stamp set.  The background was made with Whisper White using the Winter Wonder Embossing Folder.  I added some Pool Party Baker's Twine bows and some Jute Twine to connect the mittens.

9.21.2017

Pick a Pumpkin

I made this card using the Patterned Pumpkins Thinlits which coordinates with the "Pick a Pumpkin" stamp set.  I used Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Garden Green, and Elegant Eggplant.  The circle background was made with the Stitched Shapes Framelits.  Behind that I stamped the "Burlap" background stamp with Crumb Cake.  The "thanks" is from "All Things Thanks".

9.17.2017

be merry

Isn't this just cute?  I stamped it with the "Every Good Wish" stamp set in Real Red and added the splatters (grunge) and holly with Garden Green.  The background paper is from the Be Merry DSP collection.  Last, I made a little knot using the new Quilted Christmas ribbon.

Leaf

I used Shimmery White card stock along with Aqua Painters to watercolor on this card.  I used the reinkers from Crushed Curry, Tangerine Tango, and Rich Razzleberry.  I cut the leaf out with the Seasonal Layers Thinlits and popped the main piece of the card up with Dimensionals.  I stamped  the words from "Special Celebrations" and added some Glimmer Enamel Dots.

9.11.2017

Smitten Mittens

This new set called "Smitten Mittens" is adorable!  It has 17 different stamps to choose from and a coordinating framelits set.  I stamped it in Real Red and cut them out with the framelits.  I made the background snowflake by embossing Silver Foil Paper with the Winter Wonder Embossing Folder.  I used some 1/8" Real Red ribbon and Whisper White Baker's Twine to connect the mittens.

Oh Happy Day!

Another favorite of mine with this set "Happiest of Days" and these colors Night of Navy and Bermuda Bay.  Happy Labor Day weekend and Happy Birthday Lindsey--I had the best Labor Day surprise 33 years ago!

Healing

Do you ever need the perfect words to send someone that is healing?  These words are from "So Many Shells" and the background striped paper is from the Whole Lot of Lovely DSP collection.  I cut the chair from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits and the black circle from the Stitched Shapes Framelits.

8.26.2017

Thinking of You

This card could be made for a variety of occasions, but I chose "Thinking of You" from "Colorful Seasons".  I stamped the flowers from "Daisy Delight" in Calypso Coral and the centers in Soft Suede.  I added some color by using Sponge Daubers and Calypso Coral ink.  I stamped the words in Versamark and then heat embossed them using White Embossing Powder.  The background was made with the new Layered Leaves Embossing Folder.

8.23.2017

Cute Cake

I stamped this cake from "Happiest of Days" in Night of Navy and then colored it in Lemon Lime Twist.  I used the Stitched Shapes and Oval Layering Framelits.  The background paper is from the Naturally Eclectic DSP and I tied a Night of Navy Baker's Twine bow around the card.  I stamped the words in Whisper White and cut the banner with the Banner Triple Punch.

8.20.2017

Whole Lot of Lovely

I think this DSP from Whole Lot of Lovely is so pretty.  I stamped the words from "Label Me Pretty" in Basic Black and the grid background from "Timeless Textures" in Pool Party.  I also used the new Starburst Punch, the  1 3/4" Circle Punch, and the Layering Circles Framelits.  Last, I added some Pool Party Baker's Twine.
