Bright Blizzard

I thought it would be fun to do these snowflakes from the Blizzard Thinlits Die in Balmy Blue, Granny Apple Green, and Real Red.  The background was made from the Softly Falling Embossing Folder and the words are from "Beautiful Blizzard".

12.20.2018

Candy Cane Season

This cute set and coordinating punch are from the "Candy Cane Season" bundle.  I made it using Real Red and Granny Apple Green for a bright look.  The words are from "Nothing Sweeter".

12.17.2018

Blue Christmas

I just had to share this "Blue Christmas" card made with Blueberry Bushel card stock.

12.13.2018

Gift Card Holders

Here are two gift card holder ideas.  You simply slide the band off and then they tri-fold with a pocket in the middle to place a gift card.  I used DSP from Festive Farmhouse on the top one and DSP from All is Bright on the bottom one.

12.09.2018

White Snowflakes

These cute snowflakes were made from the "Beautiful Blizzard" set.  I stamped them in Versamark and heat embossed them with White Embossing Powder.  The sweet words are from the same set.  The background was made with some Wood Textures DSP.

12.03.2018

Reindeer Treats

This cute little treat box was made from a Mini Pizza Box.  I made the background with the Corrugated Embossing Folder.  I stamped Real Red card stock with Basic Black ink using the Buffalo Check Background stamp.  Then I cut the reindeer out with the Detailed Deer Thinlits and added a Linen Thread bow.

11.26.2018

Light Bulbs

This is one of my favorite Christmas sets called "Making Christmas Bright".  I stamped the light bulbs in Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Real Red, Gorgeous Grape, Pacific Point, and Call Me Clover and the bases in Basic Gray.  I punched them out with the coordinating Christmas Bulb Punch. I made the crate with the Wood Crate Framelits using the Wood Grain DSP.

11.23.2018

Colorful Seasons

I stamped these leaves from "Colorful Seasons" in Soft Suede on Sahara Sand card stock.  I added more spots and colors with "Artisan Textures" and then cut them out with the coordinating Seasonal Layers Thinlits.  I cut more leaves out of Gold Foil paper with the same thinlits.  I made the background with the Woodland Embossing Folder and added the snow on the branches using Whisper White ink and a Sponge Dauber.   Last, I added some gold pearls.

11.20.2018

Dashing Along

This card was made with the Dashing Along DSP which can be purchased during November only.  It has six different prints and her are couple of them.  They coordinate with Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green.  I made the big snowflake with the Snowfall Thinlits and the tree and "joy" with "Snow is Glistening".  These are both part of the Snowflake Showcase promotion during November.

11.17.2018

Snowflake Showcase

Here's another card made with the "Snow is Glistening" stamp set.  I used the Stamparatus with Versamark ink to line up the falling snow and then heat embossed it in white.  The background color is Blueberry Bushel and it makes a great contrast to the white.  I added some snowflakes made with White Velvet Paper and the coordinating thinlits ad then added a Snowflake Trinket.

11.14.2018

Snow is Glistening

This limited time only stamp set called "Snow is Glistening" is very versatile (check back for more samples).  I stamped the tree of snowflakes in Versamark and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.  I stamped "Joy" on vellum card stock and also embossed that.  The snowflakes were cut with the coordinating thinlits with the new White Velvet Sheets.  Last, I added some Clear Rhinestones.

11.10.2018

Plaid

I really like the look of this using the "Farmhouse Christmas" stamps and coordinating framelits.  I also used the Festive Farmhouse DSP and the Striped Burlap Trim.  I added a Galvanized Button with some Cherry Cobbler twine tied through it.  The background was made with the Corrugated Embossing Folder.

11.07.2018

Shiny Reindeer

This shiny reindeer was made with Silver Foil paper and cut out with the Detailed Deer Thinlits.  I stamped the words and punched them out with supplies from the "Christmas Traditions Tin".  The background was made with Real Red using the the Swirls and Curls Embossing Folder.  I added some Real Red Ribbon to finish it off.

11.04.2018

More Buffalo Check

I can't seem to get enough of this Buffalo Check background stamp, plus I love the way these leaves look on it.  I stamped the checks in Old Olive and the leaves in Crushed Curry and Pumpkin Pie.  They were cut out with the Detailed Leaves Thinlits and the words are from "Falling for Leaves"

11.01.2018

Wreath

I made this card using the Seasonal Wreath Embossing Folder and then colored it with Mint Macaron and a Sponge Dauber.  I made the berries with a Cherry Cobbler marker.  The words are from "Merry Christmas to All", heat embossed with Whisper White Embossing Powder, and cut out with the Starburst Punch.  I added some Striped Burlap Trim underneath the starburst.  The background was made with the Corrugated Embossing Folder and the Subtles and Festive Farmhouse DSP.

Happy Halloween!

I thought I would share three of the cards we made with the September Paper Pumpkin kit.  Although the kit contained 24 treat bags and accessories which everyone could easily make on their own, we made some cards with the supplies (and I added a few things).  If you're not a current Paper Pumpkin subscriber, please contact me to sign up.  We have a lot of fun when we get together to make what's in the kit plus alternative ideas I come up with.

10.28.2018

These pretty snowflakes were made with the Blizzard Thinlits in Silver Foil Paper and Coastal Cabana card stock.  I stamped the words from "Merry Christmas to All" in Versamark, heat embossed in Silver Embossing Powder, and cut it out with the Layering Ovals Framlets.  The background was made with the Tin Tile Embossing Folder and I added some Bermuda Bay Mini Striped Ribbon.

I used the Detailed Deer Thinlits to cut this pretty reindeer from Whisper White card stock.  I put some DSP on the back to show through his body and then added a cute stripe on the side.  I stamped the words from "Dashing Deer" and cut them out with the Tailored Tag Punch.  Last, I added some Garden Green Baker's Twine to the reindeer.

This Calls for a Celebration

Yup, this is the big one for me, how can I be this old?  I stamped this using the Uninked Spectrum Pad by filling the pads with five different colors:  Flirty Flamingo, Mango Melody, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, and Coastal Cabana.  I stamped it with the set "Calls for a Celebration" and got a great rainbow look.

10.19.2018

Hello Fall Y'All!

Hope you're having a great fall!  This was an easy card to make using the Buffalo Check background stamp.  I stamped it in Pumpkin Pie and then stamped the words from "Accented Blooms"  in Old Olive and cut them out with the Tailored Tag Punch.  I made the leaves with the Seasonal Layers Thinlits in Cherry Cobbler, Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, and Old Olive.  Last, I added some Very Vanilla Polka Dot Tulle and Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine.

Another Blizzard

This is probably my favorite card from the set "Beautiful Blizzard".  I first stamped the snowflakes in Versamark and heat embossed them with White Embossing Powder on Watercolor Paper.  Then I used a Spritzer and added some Prussian Blue Brusho to make this beautiful blue speckled background.  I added more snowflakes made with the coordinating Blizzard Thinlits.  I also heat embossed the words in white on Real Red and added a little piece of red and white stripe from the Regals 6" x 6" DSP pack.  Last, I added some Clear Rhinestones to make it sparkle!

10.13.2018

Merry Christmas to All

I love, love this Corrugated Embossing Folder!  These two cards are the same, just opposite colors used:  Mossy Meadow and Cherry Cobbler.  I used the Merry Christmas thinlits to cut out the word "Merry" and stamped "Christmas" in the coordinating "Merry Christmas to All" set.  The DSP is from the Festive Farmhouse collection and I finished it off with some Linen Thread.

10.10.2018

Country Home

This card was made with the "Country Home" stamp set.  I stamped the words in Early Espresso and then mounted it on Crushed Curry card stock made with the Corrugated Embossing Folder.  Under that I used a Galvanized Sheet and the Tin Tile Embossing Folder.  I used a sponge dauber with Early Espresso ink to make it look more antique.  The background was made with the Wood Textures DSP.  I also added a Galvanized Clip, some Linen Thread, and some Burlap Ribbon.

Painters Tape Technique

Check out these two unique birthday cards.  I made them by putting painters tape over an ink pad lengthwise, carefully pulling it off, and then gently applying the tape to Whisper White card stock.  I used two different color combinations.  The top one is Mango Melody, Mint Macaron, Flirty Flamingo and the bottom one is Mango Melody, Granny Apple Green, and Melon Mambo.  Last, I added the words from "Calls for a Celebration" in Basic Black.

Happy Fall!

I made these pretty leaves using the "Rooted in Nature" set with the aid of the Stamparatus and some spritzering!  I also added a little marker on the edge of each leaf with a shade darker.  The background was made with the "Buffalo Check" stamp (one of my favorites).

This beautiful deer was made with the "Dashing Deer" set using the coordinating Detailed Deer Thinlits.  I made it and the trim using a Gold Foil Sheet and the background was made with the Swirls and Curls Embossing Folder.  I stamped the words from the same set and heat embossed them using Gold Embossing Powder.

Christmas Pines

Here's one of my favorites from the Holiday Mini Catalog, I just love these little light bulbs.  I made them with the Christmas Bulb Punch which is part of a bundle including the "Making Christmas Bright" set (words and more light bulbs).  The background was made with "Christmas Pines".  I made the light bulbs in Daffodil Delight, Call Me Clover, and Real Red.  I made the end of the light bulbs with the same punch using a Silver Foil Sheet.

9.13.2018

Beautiful Blizzard

This set has snowflakes, backgrounds, words, and a matching thinlits die full of snowflakes.  It's called "Beautiful Blizzard" and I stamped it on Shimmery White card stock.  I used Blueberry Bushel, Balmy Blue, Flirty Flamingo, and Melon Mambo.  Last, I added some snowflakes and some Clear Rhinestones.

The Holiday Mini Begins!

This cool background was made with the Tin Tile Embossing Folder.  I used Silver Foil Paper and ran it through the Big Shot.  I stamped the words in Coastal Cabana with a little stamp from the new Christmas Traditions Punch Box and punched it out with the coordinating punch.  I popped it up on some vellum card stock cut out with the Stitched Shapes Framelits.  Last, I added some Silver and Pool Party Baker's Twine.

Sneak Peek!

The Holiday Mini starts on Wednesday!  Here's a sneak peek of the cutest reindeer set called "Dashing Deer" in four different cards.  Which one do you like the best?

8.27.2018

Granny Apple Green

This is probably my favorite card that I made from the "Accented Blooms Bundle".  I like the bright colors of Granny Apple Green and Lovely Lipstick together.  I also like the "daubered" look of the color on the flowers.   After I stamped the "hello", I punched it out with the Tailored Tag punch and then punched out a piece with Lovely Lipstick and layered the two.   The background paper is from the In Color 6" x 6" DSP collection and I added some 1/8" Lovely Lipstick Grosgrain Ribbon.

8.24.2018

Candles & Confetti

I made the background of this card with the "Candles & Confetti" Framelits and mounted it on Lovely Lipstick card stock.  I also cut the balloons out with the same framelits.  The words are from "Another Wonderful Year".

8.21.2018

Which Color?

I made the same card in two different groups of colors.  I used one of the stamps and also the punch from the "Darling Label Punch Box".  It has six different stamps, a coordinating punch, two ink spots, a clear block, and it comes in an adorable tin.

8.18.2018

petal pink

This pretty card was made with the "Darling Label Punch Box" which contains six stamps, two ink spots, a clear stamp block, and coordinating punch all in a beautiful tin box.  I added a vellum circle made with the Stitched Shapes Framelits and the trim with the Delicate Lace Edgelits.  The background was made with the Garden Trellis Embossing Folder.  Colors are Petal Pink, Calypso Coral, and Very Vanilla.

8.15.2018

Accented Blooms

"Accented Blooms" is such a versatile set.  I stamped the words in Granny Apple Green and colored the flowers with a Blender Pen in Daffodil Delight.  I punched out the words with the Tailored Tag punch and added some Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon.

8.13.2018

Garden Impressions Paper

Here are three different cards using the Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper.  This pack of paper is 6" x 6" and has 48 sheets (24 different designs).  I stamped the words and swoosh with "Abstract Impressions" in coordinating colors with the paper.
