Elegant Butterflies

Introducing . . . the new Elegant Butterfly Punch!  I punched these butterflies in Gumball Green, Night of Navy, and Melon Mambo.  I stamped three different images from "Border Banter" on the new 7/8" Cotton Ribbon in the same three colors.  Then I popped up the butterflies with Dimensionals and added coordinating buttons with some Linen Thread.  The background was made with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder using Crumb Cake card stock.

Googly Ghouls

I just had to buy this set called "Googly Ghouls".  I think the self-adhesive googly eyes give the card a cutesy, 3D touch.  I made the outside of the card using the Spider Web Embossing Folder in Basic Black and then mounted it on Tangerine Tango.  I punched a window with the 1 1/4" Circle Punch.  On the inside I stamped words from "Border Banter", added paper from the Howlstooth & Scaringbone DSP Collection, and "Booo" from "Googly Ghouls".

Merry Minis

They're tiny--but they're cute!  I stamped these shapes in Daffodil Delight, Real Red, and Gumball Green with the set "Merry Minis".  There's also a coordinating punch set called "Merry Minis" which contains the star, ornament, and tree.  I tied some Whisper White Baker's Twine on the ornament and the words are from "Border Banter".  Last I trimmed it with some Gumball Green card stock made with the Scallop Edge Border Punch.

Pleasant Poppies

I stamped this background stamp "Pleasant Poppies" with Jet Black StazOn Ink on some First Edition Specialty DSP.  Then, I colored the poppies with Tangerine Tango, Melon Mambo, and Daffodil Delight markers and the stems with Wild Wasabi.  I mounted it on Tangerine Tango card stock and tied some coordinated Scallop Dots Ribbon.

Five in a Row

I saw a card similar to this in Stampin' Success (a magazine for SU demonstrators) and thought it was darling!  I changed it up by using Crumb Cake with the Chevron Embossing Folder for the background.  Then, I stamped the flowers from "Bright Blossoms" in Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Pacific Point, and Elegant Eggplant and the stems  in Gumball Green.  I used the 1 1/4" Circle Punch to make the semi-circles under the flowers.  Last, I added a Daffodil Delight button tied with some Linen Thread.

100 Days Until Christmas

Just wanted to give you fair warning--there are only 100 days until Christmas.  It's time to get thinking about Christmas card designs!   Here's an easy one using the Northern Flurry Embossing Folder.  I mounted the Whisper White card stock onto Cherry Cobbler and edged it with Whisper White ink.  I ran some Cherry Cobbler card stock through the Big Shot with the Argyle Embossing Folder.  Then, punched them out with the new Mitten Builder Punch and popped them up with Dimensionals.  I tied some Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine around a Cherry Cobbler Brad.  Last, I added the words from "Embellished Events"

Just Ducky

During my stamping class on Saturday, Wendy pointed out how cute this duck is from "Embellished Events".  Then, I had a dream about it (I need to get a life) and knew I had to make a card.  I used Daffodil Delight, Pacific Point, and Crumb Cake.  The duck fits perfectly in the 1 3/4" Circle Punch and layered with the 2 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch.  I used some Pacific Point DSP from the Designer Series Paper Stack and edged it with the Scallop Edge Border Punch.  Last, I added some Daffodil Delight 1/4" Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon.

Tri-fold Card

I haven't made a tri-fold card for awhile, so I thought I'd give it a try.  I used the "Friendship Preserves" stamp set and three coordinating Framelits Dies from the Window Frames Collection.  Colors used were Daffodil Delight, Soft Suede, and Pool Party.  I used the Festive Paper-Piercing Pack to make the holes around the Pool Party frame.  I ran the Daffodil Delight piece through the Big Shot using the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder and the Soft Suede piece with the Houndstooth Embossing Folder.  The words inside the card were stamped with "Sassy Salutations".   Last, I tied it closed with some Victoria Lace Ribbon.   Debbie is the winner of Friday's give away!

Border Banter & Give Away

I stamped this new 7/8" Cotton Ribbon in Garden Green with "Border Banter".  The leaves were made with Cherry Cobbler, More Mustard, Garden Green, and Pumpkin Pie card stock.  I ran them through the Big Shot with the new Autumn Accents Die and the Perfect Polka Dots, Square Lattice, Argyle, and Fancy Fan Embossing Folders.  The background was made using the new Early Espresso 'Core'dinations card stock, the Woodgrain Embossing Folder, and a Stampin' Sanding Block.  This card stock is meant to create an antiqued, distressed look and also comes in Gumball Green and Cherry Cobbler.  Last, I added a Elegant Eggplant button (which looks really purple in this picture).   Leave a comment between now and Monday evening to enter a drawing to win some of this new card stock, textured pre-cut leaves, and cotton ribbon.

Dazzling Diamonds

Okay, so I got a little carried away with the glitter, but I thought this card needed a little extra sparkle.  I used the set "Moving Forward" and stamped it in Rose Red.  I added some Daffodil Delight flowers and 1/4" Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon. I used the Subtles Designer Series Paper Stacks and cut the top using the Finishing Touches Edgelits Die.  I punched the image with the 2 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch and mounted it on a Certainly Celery cut with the 2 1/2" Circle Punch.  The background was made with the Chevron Embossing Folder.  Last, I used a 2-Way Glue Pen and Dazzling Diamonds Glitter on the tricycle.

Labor Day has a very special meaning to me.  After 22 hours of labor, we welcomed our first born 28 years ago on this day.  Happy Birthday Lindsey!
