Celebrate Sunflowers

Check out this new sunflower die that coordinates with the new "Celebrate Sunflowers" set.  There are dies for two sizes of sunflowers and three leaves.  I stamped Crushed Curry ink on Bumblebee card stock (new In Color) and added some Cinnamon Cider (also new) card stock for the outline die.  I stamped Shaded Spruce on Just Jade (also new) card stock for the leaves.  The background paper is from the In Good Taste DSP collection.  Last, I added Just Jade and Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon to finish it off.  The new catalog starts on June 3.

Sneak Peek

This card is from the brand new set "Field of Flowers" which will be available on June 3.  I stamped the flowers in Magenta Madness (new In Color), Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight, and Pumpkin Pie and punched them out with the coordinating Confetti Flowers Border Punch.  I added the words from "Lovely You" and punched those out with the new Lovely Labels Pick a Punch (two punches in one).  Last, I added some new Magenta Madness 1/4" Ribbon.

Piece of Cake

This cute set called  "Piece of Cake" and coordinating Cake Builder Punch are both retiring in about a week.  I stamped the cake in black and then punched it out and colored the dots and heart with a Melon Mambo maker.  I mounted it on a rectangle I cut out from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and cut the words out with the Classic Label Punch.  Check back Thursday for a "sneak peek" from the new catalog.

Abstract Impressions

One of my favorite sets is retiring.  It's called "Abstract Impressions" and here are three different cards.   You can make three completely different looks using different color combos.

Super Simple

Do you ever need a fast and easy card idea?  I used a thick Whisper White card base and then punched out 1 1/2" circles and glued them on.  The first one is quite simple, the second one I added some ribbon, and the third one I added some texture using embossing folders.

Well Written

I don't post cards from Paper Pumpkin very often, but I thought this one was too cute to pass up.  The April kit came with a tree and leaves stamps (plus many more).  I stamped these with the leaves in Melon Mambo, Gorgeous Grape, Granny Apple Green, Mango Melody, and Bermuda Bay.  Then I cut them out with the 1 1/2" Circle Punch and glued them on.  I trimmed the piece down and mounted it on Basic Black.  Then I mounted it again on thick Whisper White card stock.  The words are from the Well Written dies which are retiring.

Masks

People have been asking me what I've been doing during quarantine.  Besides my hemstitching business, and making cards, I've been making masks.  I lost count after 120, but here are some pictures.

Buffalo Check Revisited

I stamped this using the "Buffalo Check" background stamp with Versamark ink on Melon Mambo card stock.  I used the Scripty Embossing Folder with Granny Apple Green card stock and then cut it out with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.  I used the same dies to cut out the words stamped with "So Sentimental" and the black frame behind it.  Last, I added some Black Satin Ribbon (retiring).
