Pretty Print

This is one of the newest Textured Embossing Folders called "Pretty Print".  I just love the background it makes and I added to it by using "Gorgeous Grunge" to make the dots with some Crumb Cake ink.  I used the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder to make the Calypso Coral banner  on the left.  I added a Very Vintage Designer Button tied with some Natural Linen Thread.  Next, I stamped the words and background from the set "Oh, Hello".  I cut it out with one of the Ovals Collection Framelits and popped it up with Dimensionals.  Underneath it is some Calypso Coral Ribbon.

Christmas Star

Don't you just love this huge "Christmas Star"?  This is a new single stamp available that  I popped it up with lots of Dimensionals--seven of them stacked up right in the middle.  I stamped it in Night of Navy, cut it out, and  scored the "hills" and "valleys" to give it a three-dimensional effect.   I placed a Rhinestone in the middle and wrapped Silver 1/8 Ribbon" around the star.  The words are from "Christmas Messages"

You're How Old?

These words are from "Delightful Dozen" and for my husband--today is his birthday!  The background paper is from the I Am Me DSP Collection.  I used the new Chevron Border Punch layered with some Pool Party card stock.  I added some Real Red 1/4" Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon and two cute little Pool Party buttons.

matchy-matchy

Anyone that knows me, knows I have a slight obsession with matching things.  Lately when I've made blanket sets (see my other blog here) for babies I need to include a matching card.  So, here's a blanket, burp cloth, and elephant card to match.  Martha would be proud.

Magnificent Maple

This single stamp is only $9.95 and makes the coolest leaves.  I stamped this in Early Espresso, Pumpkin Pie, Pool Party, and Crumb Cake.  I also used the stamped set "Gorgeous Grunge" for the background.  I punched the opening with the Scallop Oval Punch and stamped "hello" from the "Four You" set inside of the card.  I tied a 1/8" Pumpkin Pie Taffeta Ribbon around the opening.

Tape It

I need to play with this set more often!  "Tape It" has eight different types of "tape" to stamp that look like Washi Tape.  I used Calypso Coral and Basic Gray.  The words are from "A Dozen Thoughts" which is becoming my new favorite word set.

Papillon Potpourri

Here's the same card with two different sayings.  The top one is "A Dozen Thoughts" and the bottom one is "Memorable Moments".  I love that Memorable Moments has all the numbers and words to make whatever birthday or anniversary you need.  I stamped the cards in Coastal Cabana and Baked Brown Sugar.  I used the Bitty Butterfly and Elegant Butterfly Punches which coordinate with the "Papillon Potpourri" set.  I added a Natural Designer Button with some Pool Party Baker's Twine tied in a bow.  This set is on special with the coordinating punch during September.

Love & Laughter

I haven't used this set since I made tons of thank you cards last summer.  I think it's adorable and seeing a friend ordered a black and white wedding card, this was my "go to" set.  I used "Love & Laughter" for the cake and "Sweet Essentials" for the words.  The piece in the middle was made with the Wallpaper Embossing Folder and I added a 5/8" Whisper White Organza Ribbon.

Double Punches

I used both the Bitty Butterfly Punch and the Artisan Label Punch to make these cute little pop up things.  The paper behind each punch is from the DSP Stacks; I used:  So Saffron, Calypso Coral, Pear Pizzazz, and Rose Red.  I made the pretty Whisper White background with the Beautifully Baroque Embossing Folder and added a Pear Pizzazz Seam Binding Ribbon.

Red & Green

Are you tired of my holiday cards yet?  I like to post ideas early, so anyone that wants to use them has plenty of time to order the supplies and make them.  Anyway, I stamped this one in the traditional Real Red and Gumball Green.  The stamp is from the "Merry Little Christmas" set and I cut out the tag using the Chalk Talk Framelits Set.  The background paper is from the Polka Dot Parade DSP Collection.  I used the Chevron Embossing Folder and added some Gumball Green 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon.

Cute Cupcakes

Just had to share this adorable card Kathee made!  It's from the set "Create a Cupcake" and she made it with the coordinating Cupcake Builder Punch and in some of my favorite colors.  Yummy!  The best part is the three-dimensional awning (it's really not crooked, it was the camera lens angle) made using the Word Window Punch.  Happy Birthday Lindsey--this one's for you!
