Happy New Year!

Here's an appropriate card for New Years!  I stamped the circles from "Happy Celebrations" from the new Occasions Mini Catalog in Watermelon Wonder, Peekaboo Peach, and Pool Party.  I added some DSP from the Tasty Treats collection on the left side.  Then, I used the Celebrations Duo Embossing Folder which actually debosses the card stock and indents the word "celebrate".  I added some Sprinkles Embellishments to finish it off.

Sneak Peek!

This cute card was made with the new set "Hey, Chick" from Sale-a-Bration.  You can earn this set for free starting January 4.  I used Crushed Curry, Real Red, and Basic Black.  I added some ribbon from the Sending Love Ribbon Combo pack.

Sheep's Wool

I couldn't resist making this card using the Cable Knit Embossing Folder.  I used Smoky Slate card stock and stamped the sheep from "Barnyard Babies" in Smoky Slate too.  I colored the sheep with a So Saffron marker and made a matching little swatch to attach.  Last, I attached it all to a So Saffron card base.

Tall Trees

I love this DSP called Pinecones and Presents.  I cut out the trees in Cherry Cobbler, Emerald Envy, and Whisper White using the Santa's Sleigh Thinlits Dies.  I stamped the words from "Christmas Pines" in Versamark and heat embossed with Whisper White Embossing Powder.

Prancer

This is one of my favorite cards I made from the Holiday Mini Catalog.  I cut out the reindeer from the Santa's Sleigh Thinlits Dies and tied some Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine around his neck.  I cut 1/2" strips from DSP from the This Christmas collection, tore the edges, and then stacked them on the card.  I popped the reindeer up with Dimenstionals.  The words are from "Santa's Sleigh" and stamped in Cherry Cobbler.

Pretty Pines

This pretty winter card was made using the Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies.  I cut the pinecones out with Chocolate Chip and Early Espresso card stock  and brushed them with Whisper White ink.  The white card stock underneath was made with the Pine Bough Embossing Folder.  I layered it on Early Espresso card stock which was layered on top of some DSP from the Presents & Pinecones collection.  The ferns and base of the card were made from Mint Macaron card stock.

Red Bandana

This cute bandana card was made with the "Paisleys and Posies" set.  I stamped them with Basic Black ink and then colored some of the details with a white crayon.  Then I sponge daubered Real Red ink pad over the top and smeared the excess off with a kleenex.  The words are from "Happy Happenings"

Gold Glimmer

One more tall tree...I stamped the tree in Garden Green and cut it out with the Santa's Sleigh Thinlits.  The background was stamped in Cherry Coobbler with the "Merry Medley" stamp.  Last, I added some Garden Green and Gold Baker's Twine from the Baker's Twine Trio Pack and punched a little star out from the Gold Glimmer Paper.

Warmth and Cheer

I pieced the background of the tree together with strips from the Warmth and Cheer DSP Stack.  Then I cut the tree from the Santa's Sleigh Thinlits and popped it up with lots of Dimensionals. I stamped the words from the coordinating set and added some Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine.

Red Glitter!

These two cards were made with the same tree from "Twinkle Trees".  The tree and background of the card are Emerald Envy.  The words from both are from "Christmas Pines".  On the tree trim and words I used the new Real Red Glitter Stampin' Emboss Powder and added some Candy Cane Lane Baker's Twine (set of  red and candy cane).

Merry Medley

This background stamp makes the cutest cards.  I stamped it in Cherry Cobbler and then cut it at an angle on the card.  The wreath was made with the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits.  I added some Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine from the Baker's Twine Trio.

Three Trees

I love this new tall tree thinlit from the "Santa's Sleigh" collection.  I stamped one tree in Mint Macaron and cut the other out from Crumb Cake and Mint Macaron.  I layered them on a snowy background I made with the Softly Falling Emobssing Folder.   I stamped the words from the same set, cut them out with the Banner Triple Punch, and added some linen thread.

Watercolor Leaves

We made this card in class using the Cable Knit Embossing folder with Delightful Dijon card stock.  We used some Cajun Craze ink on a dauber to make the knitting look two-tone.  Then we did water color strokes using Aqua Painters with Delightful Dijon, Old Olive, and Cajun Craze ink.  Last, I cut the painted watercolor paper out using the Leaflets Framelits.   See the bottom picture for the ones we made at class--they are all different!

Twinkle Trees

This is one of my favorite sets from the Holiday Mini.  It's called "Twinkle Trees" and has cute little contemporary trees, ornaments, a star, a mg, and this boca looking circles.  I stamped the circles in Real Read, Daffodil Delight, Pacific Point, and Emeral Envy.  I added some Enamel Shapes on the tree.  The cursive "merry" is from the Christmas Greetings Framelits and the "MERRY CHRISTMAS" is from "Greetings from Santa".

Here's a cardigan sweater made from my favorite Cable Knit Embossing Folder!  I used Very Vanilla and as the sweater and four different colors for the buttons:  Cherry Cobbler, Island Indigo, Garden Green, and Elegant Eggplant.

Watercolor Leaves

I cut  out these leaves using the Leaflets Framelits and Watercolor Paper.  Then I used Tangerine Tango, Crushed Curry, and Old Olive ink pads with some Aqua Painters on the leaves and the background.  The splatters are from "Gorgeous Grunge" and the words are from "Kinda Eclectic".  Both were stamped in Early Espresso.

Merriest Wishes

Isn't this a cute little tag?  This set called "Merriest Wishes" comes with 11 different stamps and has a coordinating framelits set.  I used the Cable Knit Embossing folder to make the Real Red background and stamped the tag in Real Red and Emerald Envy.  To top it off I added some Emerald Envy Ruched Ribbon and some Candy Cane Lane Baker's Twine.

Paisleys and Posies

I made the same card from "Paisleys and Posies" stamped in Versamark and heat embossed it with White Embossing Powder.  Then I used Sponge Daubers to blend the colors over the top.  In the top one I used Sweet Sugarplum, Peekaboo Peach, and So Saffron.  In the bottom one I used Delightful Dijon, Rich Razzleberry, and Night of Navy.

Sparkling Star

Here are some non-traditional Christmas colors--Bermuda Bay and Pool Party.  I stamped the images and the words from the set "Star of Light" and added some Rhinestones.  I cut the star out using Silver Glimmer Paper with the coordinating Starlight Thinlits.  I also added a strip of Silver Glimmer Paper across the bottom to give it even more sparkle.

The Bees Knees

Here's another spinner card using the Sliding Star Framelits.  I stamped the bee, beehive, and words from the set "Shooting Star" using Basic Black and Daffodil Delight.  I colored in the bee's wings and head and attached him with two pennies to the track.  Last, I cut the words out with the Classic Label Punch.

Spinning Fins

Aren't these little fish cute?  They are from the set "Seaside Shore" and I stamped them in Calypso Coral and So Saffron.  The background paper is from the By the Shore collection.  I cut the "grooves" out using the Sliding Star framelits so the fish can spin!

Yup, it is!  I love having a fall birthday and making cards with these fall colors:  Garden Green, Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry, Cherry Cobbler, and Early Espresso.  The stamps are from "Totally Trees" and the words are from "Suite Sayings".

Here's a great card for a guy!  I used the Petals and Paisleys DSP along with Rich Razzleberry and Night of Navy.  The words are from "Tin of Cards" and I cut out the ovals using the Layering Ovals Framelits.

Cookie Cutters

The new Cookie Cutter Punch can be used with reindeer like these or turned the other way to make gingerbread men, santas, eskimos, bears, and more.  I stamped these reindeer from the "Cookie Cutter Christmas" set in Early Espresso on Crumb Cake.  I mounted them on Whisper White, added the words, and then again on Real Red.  The paper is from the Candy Cane Lane DSP collection and is another one on special until the end of October.

Happy Ornament

I stamped "Happy Ornament" in Versamark and then heat embossed it in silver.  The card base is made out of Elegant Eggplant cardstock.  Last, I tied some Silver Glitter ribbon around it.

Star of Light

This pretty card was made using the "Star of Light" set and the coordinating thinlits set.  The inside star and side strips were made from Gold Glimmer Paper.   I  heat embossed the words with Versamark and Gold Embossing Powder.

Presents & Pinecones Paper

Here's another paper on sale!  This one is from Presents and Pinecones and has such cute paper!  The only thing I stamped were the words from "Greetings from Santa" in Whisper White.  Fast and easy!

Copper on Copper

I cut this leaf out of a Copper Foil Sheet with the Leaflets Framelits. Then I used it for the base under the Cable Knit embossing folder.  I  heat embossed the leaf with Copper Embossing Powder.  The words are from "Floral Phrases" and I also embossed that in copper.

Festive Birthday

This cute paper called Festive Birthday is on sale along with seven other Designer Series Papers--buy three packs, get one FREE!.  The words are from "Vertical Greetings" and I used the Banner Triple Punch to make the colorful strips.  Last, I wrapped some Emerald Envy Baker's Twine around the card and made a bow.

The Sky's the Limit!

This is a spinner card and the airplane spins back and forth on the track--so fun!  I stamped it with the "Shooting Star" set and cut the words out with the Classic Label Punch.  I cut the airplane and the track out with the coordinating Sliding Star Framelits.  I used Pool Party for the card and Night of Navy for the base and the stamping.

Here's a softer version of "Totally Trees".  I used Sweet Sugarplum, Pear Pizzazz, Pool Party, and Basic Gray.  The "thanks" is from "Thankful Thoughts" and I layered it on some paper from the Playful Palette DSP Stack.

Only 3 months....

Christmas is only 3 months away!  Is it too early to think about making cards?  Of course not!  This one was made with the Detailed Santa Thinlits and the coordinating "Greetings from Santa" stamp set.  I used Real Red and Emerald Envy and added some little stars (from the same thinlits set).  I cut just the brim of Santa's hat out with some Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper and layered it on.  Last, I added some Emerald Envy Baker's Twine.

Fall is a great time to use paisleys!  I stamped this one from "Paisleys and Posies" in Mint Macaron, Delightful Dijon, and Soft Suede.   I  also cut some out using the coordinating framelits and layered those over the top.  Last, I added some new Mint Macaron Ribbon that's sold in a package with two other colors.

Here's another card made with "Totally Trees" in Bermuda Bay and Night of Navy.  The words are from "Suite Sayings" and I cut them out using one of the Layering Oval Framelits.  I made the background using the Petal Burse Embossing Folder and added some Bermuda Bay Baker's Twine.

Paisleys & Posies

This new set called "Petals & Posies" can be used a ton of different ways.  It has 18 different stamps and coordinating paisley framelits--how cute is that?  I stamped it in Peekaboo Peach, Watermelon Wonder, and Early Espresso.  I added a Peekaboo Peach Ruched Ribbon and punched out the words using the Banner Triple Punch.

Totally Trees

This is one of my new favorite sets from the Holiday Mini Catalog called "Totally Trees".  I stamped the backgrounds of the trees in different shapes in Delightful Dijon, Cajun Craze, and Old Olive.  Then, stamped the trunks and branches Soft Suede.  I stamped the words from "Acorny Thank You" and added some Linen Thread.

I made this card using the "Seaside Shore" set and the coordinating By the Shore DSP.   I stamped it in Mint Macaron, Dapper Denim, and Calypso Coral.  I made the tag using the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch and the circles using the Layering Circles Framelits.

Let's Go Fly a Kite

Here's another "Swirly Bird" card using the kite.  I stamped it in Emerald Envy and Night of Navy and the sun is in Daffodil Delight and Crushed Curry.  I made the sand using Crumb Cake and then cut the white part out with the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits.

Awww . . .

This baby card is also a shaker card made using the Sprinkles Punch (and the Window Sheet and the Foam Adhesive Strips).  I cut the ovals out using the Layering Ovals Framelits.  The onesie is from "Something for Baby" and the words are from "Layering Love".   The background paper is from the Subtles DSP Stacks (So Saffron) and mounted on Basic Gray.
