Happy Halloween!

I thought I would share three of the cards we made with the September Paper Pumpkin kit.  Although the kit contained 24 treat bags and accessories which everyone could easily make on their own, we made some cards with the supplies (and I added a few things).  If you're not a current Paper Pumpkin subscriber, please contact me to sign up.  We have a lot of fun when we get together to make what's in the kit plus alternative ideas I come up with.

Snowflakes

These pretty snowflakes were made with the Blizzard Thinlits in Silver Foil Paper and Coastal Cabana card stock.  I stamped the words from "Merry Christmas to All" in Versamark, heat embossed in Silver Embossing Powder, and cut it out with the Layering Ovals Framlets.  The background was made with the Tin Tile Embossing Folder and I added some Bermuda Bay Mini Striped Ribbon.

Negative Space

I used the Detailed Deer Thinlits to cut this pretty reindeer from Whisper White card stock.  I put some DSP on the back to show through his body and then added a cute stripe on the side.  I stamped the words from "Dashing Deer" and cut them out with the Tailored Tag Punch.  Last, I added some Garden Green Baker's Twine to the reindeer.

This Calls for a Celebration

Yup, this is the big one for me, how can I be this old?  I stamped this using the Uninked Spectrum Pad by filling the pads with five different colors:  Flirty Flamingo, Mango Melody, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, and Coastal Cabana.  I stamped it with the set "Calls for a Celebration" and got a great rainbow look.

Hello Fall Y'All!

Hope you're having a great fall!  This was an easy card to make using the Buffalo Check background stamp.  I stamped it in Pumpkin Pie and then stamped the words from "Accented Blooms"  in Old Olive and cut them out with the Tailored Tag Punch.  I made the leaves with the Seasonal Layers Thinlits in Cherry Cobbler, Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, and Old Olive.  Last, I added some Very Vanilla Polka Dot Tulle and Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine.

Another Blizzard

This is probably my favorite card from the set "Beautiful Blizzard".  I first stamped the snowflakes in Versamark and heat embossed them with White Embossing Powder on Watercolor Paper.  Then I used a Spritzer and added some Prussian Blue Brusho to make this beautiful blue speckled background.  I added more snowflakes made with the coordinating Blizzard Thinlits.  I also heat embossed the words in white on Real Red and added a little piece of red and white stripe from the Regals 6" x 6" DSP pack.  Last, I added some Clear Rhinestones to make it sparkle!

Merry Christmas to All

I love, love this Corrugated Embossing Folder!  These two cards are the same, just opposite colors used:  Mossy Meadow and Cherry Cobbler.  I used the Merry Christmas thinlits to cut out the word "Merry" and stamped "Christmas" in the coordinating "Merry Christmas to All" set.  The DSP is from the Festive Farmhouse collection and I finished it off with some Linen Thread.

Country Home

This card was made with the "Country Home" stamp set.  I stamped the words in Early Espresso and then mounted it on Crushed Curry card stock made with the Corrugated Embossing Folder.  Under that I used a Galvanized Sheet and the Tin Tile Embossing Folder.  I used a sponge dauber with Early Espresso ink to make it look more antique.  The background was made with the Wood Textures DSP.  I also added a Galvanized Clip, some Linen Thread, and some Burlap Ribbon.

Painters Tape Technique

Check out these two unique birthday cards.  I made them by putting painters tape over an ink pad lengthwise, carefully pulling it off, and then gently applying the tape to Whisper White card stock.  I used two different color combinations.  The top one is Mango Melody, Mint Macaron, Flirty Flamingo and the bottom one is Mango Melody, Granny Apple Green, and Melon Mambo.  Last, I added the words from "Calls for a Celebration" in Basic Black.

purple snowflakes

Here's a little change of pace, a purple Christmas card.  I used the stamp set "Beautiful Blizzard" and matching thinlits using Gorgeous Grape ink and card stock.
