Spring Flowers

I love these three colors together:  Pink Pirouette, Watermelon Wonder, and Wild Wasabi.  I stamped this with "Avant Garden" which will retire on Friday.  I stamped Watermelon Wonder flowers on the Watermelon Wonder card stock to give it a background effect.  Then, I stamped all the flowers and cut out the top edge around the petals.  Last, I added some Whisper White Ribbon from the Sending Love Combo Pack.

Make a Medallion

Here are some cards from the "Make a Medallion" set that was an additional Sale-a-Bration option added later.  Two of them have pretty glimmer paper and one was done with water coloring.  Sale-a-Bration ends on Friday, please let me know if you still need to order something.  Once SAB ends, these items are gone for good.

Big on Birthdays

Here are two super simple cards I made using a stamp from the "Big on Birthdays" set.  The top one I did in Blushing Bride and Tip Top Taupe and the bottom one in Basic Black and Gold.  I used the Festive Embossing Folder for both of them.  On the top one I added some Blushing Bride Stitched Stain Ribbon and on the bottom one some Gold Metallic Ribbon (pack of gold and silver from SAB).

Avant Garden

Here's a soft, spring card using the "Avant Garden" set from SAB.  I stamped the flower in Island Indigo and the stem in Mint Macaron.  I cut it out using the Stitched Shapes Framelits and the scalloped background with the Layering Ovals Framelits.  The background paper is from the Blooms & Bliss collection and the words are from "All Things Thanks".  Last, I added some 5/8" Mint Macaron ribbon.

Tasty Trucks

Isn't this cute?  I made it using "Tasty Trucks" from Sale-a-Bration.  I stamped it in Basic Gray and used the Watercolor Pencils to color the truck.  I added a strip of polka dot paper from the Brights DSP Stack which I also stamped, cut out, and then adhered to the truck.  I made the background with the Large Polka Dots Embossing Folder and added some Bermuda Bay striped paper (also from the Brights DSP Stack) on the side.  Last, I added some Melon Mambo Baker's Twine and popped up the words from the same set with Dimensionals.

Butterfly

I haven't used the Bold Butterfly Framelits for a long time and I thought these rows of lace stamped with "Delicate Details" from SAB would look cute in this shape.  I stamped them in Peekaboo Peach and added some coordinating ruched ribbon.  The background was made with DSP from the Succulent Garden collection and the Petal Burst Embossing Folder with Tip Top Taupe card stock.  The words are from "Sundshine Sayings".

It's Your Birthday

Here's a fast and easy birthday card to make.  I used "Balloon Adventures" with the coordinating Balloon Pop-Up Thinlits.   I stamped some streamers in Night of Navy on the Bermuda Bay background before adding the rest.  I used some Night of Navy Baker's Twine, but it could be substituted for some Melon Mambo ribbon for a more feminine card.

Special Reason

This bundle of "Special Reason" stamp set and Stylish Stems Framelits has a ton of possibilities!  I used the bright colors of Cucumber Crush, Daffodil Delight, and Night of Navy. I layered them and popped other the main piece (Night of Navy) with lots of Dimensionals over some Floral Boutique DSP.  I also used the coordinating DSP as trim along the bottom of the card.vvLast, I finished if off with some Whisper White Baker's Twine.

Three French Hens

Aren't these wild chickens cute?  What great hairdos!  I stamped them (from "Hey, Chick") in Basic Black and then colored their feathers with Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango, Melon Mambo, and Bermuda Bay.  I cut them out with the Stitched Shapes Framelits and made the Melon Mambo frames with the Layering Squares Framelits.  This is also part of the March 20 class.

Chicken with Stripes

I used the black and white striped paper from Pop of Pink for the background.  I stamped the chicken from "Hey, Chick" and cut it out with the Stitched Shaped Framelits.  Then, I layered it with Real Red from the Layering Circles Framelits.  I cut the words out with the Classic Label Punch and added some ribbon from the Sneding Love Ribbon Combo Pack.

Calico Chicken

Here's another chicken card made with "Hey, Chick" I used Watermelon Wonder for the background with the Large Polka Dot Embossing Folder.  The little flowered paper is from the Affectionately Yours DSP collection and I trimmed the ends with the Banner Triple Punch. I added some little Daffordil Delight flowers from the Petite Petals Punch.   I cut the chicken out with the Stitched Shapes Framelits and mounted it on a scalloped circle made from the Layering Circle Framelits.

Chicken Coop

Here's my favorite chicken card.  It's a chicken coop (or maybe an outhouse).  I made it with "Hey, Chick", "Hardwood", and "Butterfly Basics".  There are little hinges and a window for the "top" chick.  Here's the outside, middle, and inside.  Learn how to make this card and four other chicken cards at my class on March 20.
