This single stamp "Homemade" is also retiring. The girls at church are making baked goods (bread, chocolate pie, and cheesecake) to sell to raise money for camp. I wasn't able to help bake, but thought I would make some cute tags to add to the packaging. I used the 2 3/8" Scallop Circle and 1 3/4" Circle Punches and then layered them. Yum!

I used the new set "Bright Blossoms" to make this card. I stamped the tulips in Daffodil Delight and Lucky Limeade and the mounted them on Tempting Turquoise circles. I used the Top Note Die with coordinated DSP "Summer Smooches" behind them. Then, I ran the Daffodil Delight card through the Big Shot using the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder. Betsy's Blossoms
I used the new stamp set "Betsy's Blossoms" and new DSP "Floral District" to make this card. Colors are Daffodil Delight, Baja Breeze, and Rich Razzleberry. I stamped the big yellow flower and then punched it out with the 2 1/2" Circle Punch. Then, I stamped the bird in different colors and cut out and switched the wings. I used the Scallop Edge Border Punch to make the trim and added some new Daffodil Delight 1/4" Stitched Ribbon on the bottom. New catalog starts June 1!

Flower Pot
I made this cute little flower pot by folding Crumb Cake card stock and trimming it with the Eyelet Border Punch (retiring). I tied Lucky Limeade 3/8" Ruffled Ribbon around the top and inserted another piece of Crumb Cake (that slides in and out) with the flowers from "Flower Fest" (retiring) stamped on Melon Mambo, Tempting Turquoise, and Daffodil Delight. I punched them with the Fancy Flower, 5-Petal Flower, and 2 3/8" Scallop Circle Punches. The Lucky Limeade leaves were made with the Blossom Petals Builder Punch and the words are from "Everyday Wishes" (also retiring). The bottom picture shows the card pulled out of the flower pot.

Little Time, Little Cards
I thought it would be fun to make some 3" x 3" cards for a change. They make great gift bag enclosures and at the rate I've been crocheting the edges of baby blankets, I've been using a lot of them. Sorry the last one is a little blurry.

Wacky Wishes
Do you think I'm holiday impaired? I just had to play with new set called "Wacky Wishes". I think I'm in love! It has six other sentiments for special occasions and reminds of one of my favorite retired sets called "Alphabet Soup". You can earn this set with hostess dollars, only $10 for clear and $14 for wood--what a deal. I used the new In Color, Gumball Green, along with Cherry Cobbler. The DSP is from the new Be of Good Cheer collection. Last, I added some new Gumball Green 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon.
Both Debbie and Marianne are winners of the give away from Friday. I'm going to send you each a packet with the new In Colors card stock and some new ribbon to match!

Happy Mother's Day!
Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there! Here's a card I made with a group of teenage girls especially for their moms. Most of them had never stamped, but came away wanting to attend future stamping classes. We used a Melon Mambo card with a strip of Daffodil Delight DSP from the Patterns Designer Series Paper Stack. We stamped the flower with a stamp from the "Posy Punch" set (Hostess Set retiring) and punched it out with the Fancy Flower Punch. Then, we stamped the center with another stamp from that set from Daffodil Delight and punched it out with the 3/4" Circle Punch and popped it up with a Dimensional. The words are from "Delightful Dozen" and the ribbon is Daffodil Delight 1/4" Grosgrain. Last, we rounded the corners with the 3/16" Corner Punch.

A Cherry on Top & Give Away
Here's a brand new set call "A Cherry on Top". It has nine images including a glass dome to cover the cupcakes. I used Pool Party, Pretty in Pink, and Poppy Parade (soon to retire). I made the frame with the Scallops Squares Duo Die and the background with the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder. Then, I added some Pretty in Pink 1/2" Scallop Dots Ribbon.
The new In Colors for 2012-2014 are: Raspberry Ripple, Summer Starfish, Midnight Muse, Primrose Petals, and Gumball Green (my fave). Leave a comment between now and Monday night and I will put your name in a drawing to win a package of new In Color Assorted Card Stock--all five colors.

It's Here!
Look what the brown truck brought me today! When I heard the brakes squeal I went running to the front door--just like one of Pavlov's dogs being rewarded with food. So, that pretty much blows the chances of me getting anything else done today. I'm so proud of my new catalog for holding still long enough for me to take a picture. There are SO many way-cute new stamp sets, ribbons, dies, buttons, etc. Check back on Friday for a give away and a card made with my new "stuff".

Just Believe
I love these colors together! I stamped the image twice with Daffodil Delight and the words with Basic Black. There are nine differernt images and words that come with this set "Just Believe". Then, I added a Basic Black 1/2" Scallop Dots Ribbon to finish it off. Easy Peasy!

Happiest Birthday Wishes
I saw these colors (Poppy Parade, Calypso Coral, and Night of Navy) on a gift bag the last twenty-four times I've been in Target. I finally decided it was a "sign" and I needed to make a card using this palette. Here is one of the eleven stamps from the retiring Hostess Set "Happiest Birthday Wishes". The background paper is from the Patterns Designer Series Paper Stack. I added some trim made with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch and a Night of Navy button tied with some Whisper White Baker's Twine.

Hurry--Have a Seat!
One of my favorite stamp sets that is retiring is "Have a Seat". It comes with this chair, two other chairs, and a bench. I stamped this one in Wisteria Wonder on a piece of Very Vanilla I made with the Designer Frames Embossing Folder. I mounted it on a piece of Wisteria Wonder DSP from the Patterns Designer Series Paper Stack, then on a piece of Soft Suede made with the Houndstooth Embossing Folder, and then on a Pool Party card. Last, I added a Chantilly Crochet Trim bow (also retiring) and a Designer Printed Brad.
