Isn't this happy and bright? I stamped it with one of the stamps from the new set "Gorgeous Grunge" in Bermuda Bay, Pacific Point, Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie, and Daffodil Delight. The words are from "Sweet Essentials" which is on sale through tomorrow. I used the Chevron Embossing folder for the background, added some Pacific Point 1/4" Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon, and a couple of Bermuda Bay cute little buttons.

Paper Pumpkin Pieces
I know I've mentioned Paper Pumpkin before, but I just wanted to tell you how fun it is to open my box every month. This month's box contained three stamps, preprinted cardstock and envelopes for four cards, Soft Suede ink, and three sheets of coordinating hexagons to add to the card. The card also had little hexagon windows already punched out. Here's the link if you are interested in finding out more and/or signing up: https://mypaperpumpkin.com/en/

Date Night
One of my favorite places to eat is The Spaghetti Factory. These cute little boys only live five minutes away from one--so out for dinner we went. Blake (right) was thrilled when we got to sit in the trolley to have dinner--Nash (left) not so much. The angle wasn't great for taking pictures with them leaning out the windows.
So, I tried taking one of them at the back of the car. As you can see, Nashy wasn't quite tall enough.
We settled for an outside picture near the bench, because what kids would actually want to sit on the bench? We ended the evening by shopping for matching shirts. Blake was a little more picky and Nash wanted every shirt in every row. We bought some cute red ones (and a new purse for grandma). When we arrived home, I quickly slipped them over their heads in the garage. They burst through the back door to show their parents what we had been up to. Sorry I didn't get a picture of that, but it was cute.

Six-Sided Sampler
I made this card with more Coastal Cabana ink and card stock, oh, and some Basic Gray too. I stamped it with the set "Six-Sided Sampler" and punched the pieces out with the coordinating Hexagon Punch (you can buy the bundle and save). I added a In Color Boutique Detail, a Basic Gray Designer Button, and some 3/8" Coastal Cabana Ruffle Stretch Trim. The chevrons and hounds tooth were made with the "Tape It" set. The words are from "Petite Pairs" and are 25% off until the end of June.

Cycle Celebration
Isn't this the cutest bike? It's from the "Cycle Celebration" set which also has a soda pop bottle, a candle, a saying that fits in the Decorative Label Punch, "Happy Birthday to You!", and "Wheely Sweet Friend". I stamped it in Coastal Cabana and mounted it on Strawberry Slush. I added some Strawberry Slush 3/8" Ruffle Stretch Trim along the edge. The background was made with the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder and more Coastal Cabana. I topped it off with some new Whisper White Designer buttons tied with Pool Party Baker's Twine.

Zoo Babies
I can't get enough of this new set called "Zoo Babies". It is SO cute and has eight animals and two greetings. I stamped the elephant and words in Smoky Slate (brand new color). Then, I did the ear in Pink Pirouette, cut it out, and popped it up with a Dimensional. I cut it out with one of the circles from the Framelits Circles Collection. I made the background using the new Alphabet Press Embossing Folder. I used some Smoky Slate 3/4" Chevron Ribbon around the bottom.

I stamped the words with "Sassy Salutations" which is on sale right now for 25% off. The background was made with the Chevron Embossing Folder and I added some 1/8" Bermuda Bay Taffeta Ribbon (brand new).

I colored this single stamp called "Birthday Cake" with Crushed Curry, Melon Mambo, and Bermuda Bay markers. Isn't it darling? I used the Chevron Embossing Folder to make the background and stamped the words with "Sweet Essentials" (on sale right now for 25% off). Last, I added a Crushed Curry 3/4" Chevron Ribbon. The new Chevron Ribbon comes in 12 different colors!

Already?
It's only June 8, how can it really be this hot ALREADY? This is in Scottsdale, but by the time I drove to Fountain Hills (20 minutes away) the temperature had dropped to 111. Yup, it's always cooler in FH. Stay tuned Monday for some more new cards.

Chalk Talk
"Chalk Talk" has six different images and coordinating Framelits Dies. I stamped the words in Bermuda Bay, put them on a Pink Pirouette Banner, and added some new Strawberry Slush 3/8" Ruffle Stretch Trim (love this). I made the Coastal Cabana background using the Chevron Embossing Folder. The two stamped strips were made with the new set called "Tape It". Last, I added a Strawberry Slush decorative piece from the In Color Boutique Details.

What's in the Box?
Look what arrived today! New stamp sets, ribbons, punches, brads, buttons, and designer paper. Did I mention the new catalog is here? Let the fun begin! This darling, new set called "Zoo Babies" has eight different animals and two greetings. You will be seeing more of this! I stamped the giraffe in Gumball Green and tied some Calypso Coral Baker's Twine around his neck and around the middle to match the frame. I used paper from the Epic Day This and That Collection for the background. I put a strip of Washi Tape from the Gingham Garden (set of three) on Very Vanilla card stock to make the trim. Check back for more new cards soon!

I Planted
This is what you do in Arizona when you can't plant flowers in the spring. Buy a cute, metal, yellow planter thingy at Home Goods. Have the handyman drill and hang it in the stucco niche right outside the front door. Buy red silk geraniums at Michaels, cut them, and "plant" them in the pots. No dirt, no water, and no mess. Very low maintenance as well.
