Just Breathe

Don't you just love this new chair from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits?  I used an Aqua Painter with Bermuda Bay ink on Shimmery White card stock for the background and stamped the words from "Colorful Seasons" in Crumb Cake.  Then I mounted it on Crumb Cake and Bermuda Bay card stock.  Just one more day until ordering begins from the new catalog!

Pretty Flowers

These watercolor flowers were made with "Penned & Painted".  I stamped them in Peekaboo Peach and Watermelon Wonder over the top of the "Hardwood" background which I stamped in Sahara Sand.  The words are from "Balloon Adventures".

Sunflower

This 3-D sunflower was made using the Eastern Medallions Thinlits from the Eastern Palace Bundle.  I cut the petals out with Crushed Curry and the middle with Chocolate Chip (front) and Early Espresso (back).  The stem and petals were made with Old Olive and I added a Crushed Curry Baker's Twine bow.  The background was made with Chocolate Chip DSP from the Neutrals DSP Stack (retiring) and the words are from "Greatest Greetings" (also retiring).

Hello You

This card was made with the "happy" from the Hello You Thinlits set (retiring).  I cut it out in Watermelon Wonder and used that color plus Peekaboo Peach, Pool Party, and Pear Pizzazz to stamp the background spots from "Gorgeous Grunge".  I can't believe Gorgeous Grunge is retiring, it's one of my very favorite sets. Anyway... the little "birthday" is from "Endless Birthday Wishes". 

1000th Post!

That's right--this is my 1000th post!  I started my blog in 2010 and have been posting new cards, quilts, and other pictures for seven years.  To celebrate I am drawing a name from comments made on this post next Monday (5/29).  That person will win a gift package of some fun Stampin' Up! supplies including some items from the new catalog.  So, please leave me a comment if you'd like your name to be entered in the drawing.

This card was made from "Day at the Beach" and I'm so sad it's retiring.  I used Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, and Cucumber Crush (also retiring).

Cheers

This happy card was made from "Penned & Painted" which is retiring.  I stamped it in Bermuda Bay and added some background with "Gorgeous Grunge". I looped some Melon Mambo Stitched Ribbon under the "Cheers" which I stamped with "Love Sparkles". 

Endless Birthday Wishes

The "Endless Birthday Wishes" set has tons of words in two different fonts, these little dots, plus this adorable little cake.  I stamped the words and cake in Night of Navy and used paper from the Affectionately Yours DSP collection which coordinates with Watermelon Wonder (top one).  The bottom one was stamped in Basic Black and the paper was from the Pop of Pink DSP collection.  Which one do you like better?

Petite Petals

Here are two cards made with different colors using the "Petite Petals" set which is retiring (and also the coordinating punch).  The top one was made in So Saffron, Pool Party, and Pear Pizzazz.  The bottom one was made with Daffodil Delight, Calpyso Coral, and Melon Mambo.  The words are from "Greatest Greetings".

I Scream You Scream . . .

. . .  we all scream for ice cream!  This simple card was made using the dots from "Happy Celebrations" stamped in Pool Party and Flirty Flamingo.  I debossed the "celebrate" with the coordinating Celebration Duo Embossing Folder and added the ice cream cone I made with the Frozen Treats Framelits.  Last, I tied a little bow with some Linen Thread. 

Sunshine is on its Way

Here's another card made with "Builder Birdcage".  I used Night of Navy, Bermuda Bay, and Daffodil Delight.  I added some specks with "Gorgeous Grunge" and the words, background flowers, and swooshes are from "Sunshine Sayings".  I used the Banner Triple Punch to make the banner for the words and added some Bermuda Bay Thick Baker's Twine.

Lighthouse

This is one of my favorite stamp sets because it reminds of my favorite read lighthouse back home.   This two-step lighthouse stamp is from the set "High Tide" and I stamped it in Real Red.  The words were stamped in Night of Navy and cut out with the Stitched Shapes Framelits.  The background paper is from the Floral Boutique collection and the ribbon is from the Sending Love Ribbon duo.

Lucky Elephant

This elephant called "Lucky Elephant" also comes with a stamp that says "GOOD LUCK".  I stamped it in Early Espresso and mounted it a square of Peekaboo Peach and added some Bermuda Bay Thick Baker's Twine.  The background paper is from the Cupcakes & Carousels DSP Stack. 

Minty

I used the Succulent Garden DSP for the middle of the card and placed it on a Mint Macaron background.  I embossed the card using the Sparkle Embossing Folder and then tied some Linen Thread around the whole card.  Last, I stamped the words from "Big on Birthdays" in Tip Top Taupe and popped it up with Dimensionals.

Oh Baby!

I made this sweet little card using the set "Moon Baby".  I stamped the words and images in Basic Gray and then used So Saffron, Pool Party, Wild Wasabi, and Flirty Flamingo ink refills with Aqua Painters to color them in.
