Four You

This single stamp "Birthday Cake" is so fast & easy to use--I made this card in about five minutes.  I used Daffodil Delight and Basic Black.  The words are from the "Four You" set which includes three other sayings.  The background paper is from the Polka Dot Parade Collection.  I added some Basic Black 3/4" Chevron Ribbon, a Basic Black button, and a Daffodil Delight brad.

Long 4th Weekend

Just had to post these cute pictures of last weekend.  Here's Crew in his festive holiday hat I made on the way to Utah.  It was a little hot, but we had to get some pictures in from his first boat ride while he was still awake.

Here's the boys and their mom on the lounging boat/raft being pulled by the bigger boat that we were on.

It rains in Utah--something we haven't seen in Arizona for months.  Here's Lindsey and the boys playing in the rain.  I seriously don't know who had more fun.

Off the Grid

Here's some more new stuff!   "Off the Grid" is the background (single stamp) I stamped with Night of Navy on Pool Party.  The words are from "Lots of Thanks" and were cut out with the Chalk Talk Framelits.  I put it (the bread tag as I call it) on a Night of Navy background made with the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder.  Last, I added some Pool Party Baker's Twine and a button from the Subltes Collection.

Radical Rhino

Still lovin' this set!  "Zoo Babies" has eight different animals and two different sayings.  I thought this one would be cute for a child's birthday and changed it up a bit from a card I found online.  The words are from "Remembering Your Birthday" and I used Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry, and Raspberry Ripple.  The background paper is from the Birthday Basics DSP Collection--right now if you buy three packs of DSP, you get one for FREE!  I used some 1/8" Bermuda Bay Ribbon around the middle to finish it off.

Sweet Baby

This darling zebra is another animal from "Zoo Babies" which is probably my favorite set from the new catalog.  I stamped him in  Basic Black and the words from "Itty Bitty Banners" in Strawberry Slush.  I punched out the banner using a framelit from the Bitty Banners set and popped it up with Dimensionals.  The background paper is from the Neutral Designer Series Paper Stacks and I tied a Strawberry Slush 3/8" Ruffled Ribbon around it.  The Whisper White background was made with the Chevron Embossing Folder (shocker).

Happy 4th

Hope you have a happy Fourth of July!  Here's a banner I made using red pillow ticking, scraps from jeans, and a couple yards of jute.

Here's a close up that shows the white stitching on the flags and the mini clothespins I used to hang them.

Flower Shop

I'm having so much fun with this set and coordinating punch.  I stamped these flowers from "Flower Shop" in Pool Party and Early Espresso.  The words are from "Loving Thoughts".   I used some polka dotted paper from the Designer Series Paper Stacks (all new prints) for the background.  I shaped it with a pair of scissors, put it on an Early Espresso card base, and placed the flowers along the edge.  I added some Candy Dots (new) in Pool Party and Early Espresso and a little Pool Party button with some Early Espresso Baker's Twine tied through it.
