Some Scallops

I admit I got a little carried away with the scallop punches on this card.  I used "Lacy and Lovely" and the words are from "Itty Bitty Banners".  I used Daffodil Delight, Pool Party, and Basic Gray.  I ran the background through the Big Shot using the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder and will spare you the list all the punches I used.

Made for You

This set of words, "Made for You", contains "especially for you", "happy birthday", and "thank you" shown here.  I love this font!  I stamped the flowers from "Bright Blossoms" in Gumball Green and Melon Mambo.  I added background paper from the Color Collection Designer Series Paper Stacks (Brights) and cut the bottom of it with the Large Scallop Edgelits.  I finished off the card with a new Gumball Green 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon.

Christmas in July

Do you realize there are only five months until Christmas?  I always thought "Christmas in July" was a made-up holiday for procrastinating crafters that spent the whole month of  December in marathon mode.  "Christmas in July" actually refers to Christmas-themed celebrations held in July common in the southern hemisphere because it is winter there right now.

So, I thought it was appropriate to share a Christmas card from the Holiday Mini which starts August 1.  I used the Holiday Frame Embossing Folder to make this background with Very Vanilla card stock.  I stamped the oval shape in Cherry Cobbler and tree in Gumball Green from "Joyous Celebrations", punched it out with the Extra-Large Oval Punch, and popped it up with Dimensionals.  Last, I tied on some Cherry Cobbler Scalloped Tulle Ribbon (also from the Holiday Mini).  Here's to an early Happy Christmas (as they say in Australia)!

Perfectly Perserved

Check out this new set from the Holiday Mini which starts on August 1.  Colors used were Lucky Limeade, More Mustard, and Raspberry Ripple.  I stamped the jar and lid with "Perfectly Preserved" and then cut them out with the coordinating Cannery Set Framelits Dies.  The background paper is from the new Orchard Harvest collection.  I also added a wooden button with some Whisper White Baker's Twine.

Ice Cream

One evening while I was taking care of the boys, they wanted to have a picnic.  Well, even in early June in Arizona it's way too hot to have a picnic outside.  So, we laid beach towels out, put our pajamas on, and had our dinner on the living room floor.  And what would a picnic be without ice cream?  Shhh--don't tell their mom.  (Notice Nashy is using his LEFT hand!)

Another Reason to Smile

I just had to share one more card from this set because I'm placing an order for this July special (see details on the last two posts) on Wednesday morning (for Michigan customers).  I used Pretty in Pink, Melon Mambo, and Gumball Green.  The flowers are from "Reason to Smile" and the words from "Friendly Phrases".  I punched the single flower out with the 1 3/4" Scallop Circle Punch, added a button from the Regal Designer Buttons, and tied it with Whisper White Baker's Twine.  The Gumball Green trim was made with the Adorning Accents Edgelits (and the Big Shot).

More Reason to Smile

Here's another card made with this cute set!  I used Marina Mist, Midnight Muse, Daffodil Delight, and Wild Wasabi.  I stamped the flowers with both the background and the outline and then adhered them under the window I made with the Labels Collection Framelits.  The border was made with the Scallop Edge Border Punch and I added some Midnight Muse 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon. Last, I stamped the words with "Itty Bitty Banners" and punched them out with the Bitty Banners Framelits.   Remember, you can get this set for only $5 with a $50 order (before shipping & tax).

Reason to Smile

This cute set, "Reason to Smile",  has seven different images and it can be yours for only $5 (with a $50 purchase before shipping & tax) during the month of July.  I used Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake, and Very Vanilla.  The background was made with the Fancy Fan Embossing Folder and I made the trim with the Scallop Edge Border Punch.  Check back Friday to see another card with a totally different look made with this set!

Topsy-Turvy Celebration

This cute set has eight pieces that you can build fun cakes and tiaras with.  I used Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, and Tangerine Tango.  I used the Brights Collection Designer Series Paper Stacks and coordinating buttons.

Wow--our little boy got married, and we are so happy for him and Aubree!

I always wanted four children--two boys and two girls (plus two little boys)!

Happy 4th!

I made this card using the Top Note Die and the Square Lattice and Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folders.  I used Real Red, Night of Navy, and Whisper White.  Last, I added four little white buttons.  Have a Happy 4th of July!

400th Post

Happy Red, White, and Blue!  I made this little door decoration using 3" felt circles cut out with my Big Shot.  I folded them in quarters and pinned the points onto a styrofoam wreath.  Then, I used my Star Punch and some Whisper White card stock to make the stars.  This is my 400th post, can you believe it?
